Online Shopping Terms and Conditions

In these terms and conditions, the "Company" or "we" or mean Group Buyer and the "Customer" or "you" shall mean any person, firm, company or body which places an order with the Company. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the site. By using the site or any part of it, you agree that you have read these terms and conditions and that you accept and agree to be bound by them.  

General Section

1.   The Company shall make every effort to ensure that prices, details and sizes of products on this website are up to date. Prices are subject to change without prior notice and all orders are subject to Company's acceptance at its sole discretion and stock availability.

2.   The Company shall make every effort to ensure products displayed on the website are in stock. If from time to time products become out of stock, the Company reserves the right to offer alternative product/s to the Customer of similar value and style.

3.      Selling price and promotions at Group Buyer may be different from physical stores

4.      The prices charged are those applicable on the day you order.

5.      All orders are subject to confirmation of final availability, and we reserve the right to decline any order at our sole discretion. In the event that we are unable to fulfill any of the products or services in the Customer’s order, we will notify the Customer by phone or email before delivery.

6.      It is illegal to sell alcohol to people under the age of 18. By placing an order with alcohol products, the Customer confirms that he/she is 18 years old or above. The Customer shall ensure that no person shall use his/her login to purchase alcohol products and a person aged 18 or above (identification required) must be present to take delivery or delivery shall be withdrawn and attempted at another time agreed.

7.      We would like to provide you with the best shopping experience. By switching on location services, this app can collect your location data to personalise your app experience with location-based promotions and product recommendations, even when the app is not in use.

Registration

1.      You are required to register before placing any order through this website. During the registration:

2.      You must provide us with accurate, complete and up to date registration information;

3.      You must safeguard your username and password;

4.      You authorize us to assume that any person using the site with your username and password is either you or is authorized to act for you;

5.      The Company has the absolute discretion to refuse registration of a potential customer and to terminate the registration of any customer for any reason whatsoever.

6.      You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided so that we can communicate with you effectively.

7.      In the event that your account is not used for a specified period (currently, 3 years), we will, for your own and our protection, deem your account to be no longer in use, and we will deactivate your account and all your accumulated points and/or e-vouchers will be forfeited (where applicable). You will need to reapply for a new account if you wish to make further purchase at our website.  

 

Return Policy & Arrangements

Group Buyer is committed to provide customers with a pleasant online shopping experience, and we strive to ensure the quality of our products, with a team of professionals for packaging and delivery arrangement. In addition, we will also provide customers with perfect after-sales service. If you are encountering any problems after receiving the products, you may contact us.

 

In general, Group Buyer does not offer return or exchange arrangements unless the product does not match the order or the goods received are damaged.

 

If you find the product does not match the order or the goods received are damaged after receiving the product, please take a photo archive, record the item in a photo, and contact us within 7 days of receipt to request a refund / exchange. To return or exchange, please keep the original item in full packaging and ensure that the goods are complete and unused.

 

1. If some products are missing, please record the packaging in photos for further follow-up.

2. Customers are required to complete a return and exchange request form on the Group Buyer page and your application will be processed as required.

3. Return the exchange for a replacement item or Group Dollar.  

4. Friendly reminder! Making this request does not mean that the order is eligible for return and exchange, and the follow-up process will contact you via customer service email cs@groupbuyer.hk processing.

5. Applications made after 7 days of receipt will not be processed.

 

Return Terms and Conditions

General conditions for which a refund is not accepted:

  1. No boxes, labels, or contents of the goods have been damaged or folded. (Return must be consistent with all accessories and packaging at the time of receipt).
  2. Customer’s personal reasons, such as buying the wrong goods, buying the wrong color, size and size is not suitable does not apply.
  3. Damaged goods that have been modified and used by the customer.
  4. Goods more than 7 days.
  5. Some items have been marked as non-returnable.
  6. Goods that have been opened, used or caused any damage for personal/human reasons cannot be returned.  

We will endeavor to provide you with new items that have been replaced by a return, but sometimes due to limited availability, we will return the payment made by the customer at the time of purchase in form of Group Dollar within 30 working days of receipt of the return.

 

You may purchase goods under different offers, such as full discount, points when money or full order reduction, etc., the principle of refund will be calculated in the form of a discount, a refund of points and then cash.

 

All return arrangements Group Buyer reserves the right to make changes without prior notice to you and the right to refuse replacement, and in the event of any dispute, Group Buyer reserves the right to make the final decision.

Payment Method

3. The value of all goods is in Hong Kong dollars.  

4. To provide secure and reliable online shopping services, our online transactions use Transport Layer Security (TLS), a transport layer security encryption technology. All personal data, including your credit card number, name, address, etc., will be encrypted before being transmitted over the Internet to prevent unauthorized third parties from reading your data when it is transmitted online. If you check the information of the security certificate, you can right-click on the web page at checkout and select Content and Certificate.

5. If you are a Group Buyer member, you can purchase products in the e-store at the rate set using Group Buyer Points in your account.

6. All items ordered online must be at the sole discretion of Group Buyers and accepted in accordance with the availability of inventory. Customers will receive the final purchase receipt at the same time as the item is collected for recording.

7. Group Buyer may from time to time set credit limits for individual customers and reserves the right to impose restrictions on any sale, including the right to refuse to sell the goods to any customer.  

8. Group Buyer reserves the right to change the payment method for online purchases at any time without notice.  

 

Order Confirmation and Delivery Service

Once we have received your order and confirmed payment, the supplier will confirm the inventory and arrange shipment. When the items in the order are in stock, we will arrange for delivery service. You may select the delivery date when confirming the order. In case, delivery is scheduled within three working days of confirmation of payment.

Some product types, like service or cash coupons are generally sent as electronic receipts, which customers can print directly to use the service or redeem cash cards.

If the delivery time is longer due to the out of stock or the need for combining shipment of some items, we will notify you by e-mail and list them in the product description. In addition, if there is a shortage of goods after placing an order, we will notify you within 7 working days and refund the relevant amount. Payment will be returned to the credit card/bank account within 30 days. Once the order is confirmed, the customer may not change the category or quantity or delivery address.

Delivery charge: HK$30 per order, with only one location per order. For some seasonal products, delivery cost may be different according to the suppliers.    

 

The delivery service will be provided by SF Express. You can learn about the delivery terms and scope of the delivery at the SF Express website. When SF Express confirms the receipt, we will notify you of the delivery note number of SF Express.  

Delivery services are not available in buildings where lifts are not accessible. If there is any lift failure at the delivery building location and it is not functioning properly, the Company will contact the customer to change the delivery date or the Company will contact the customer to pick up the goods in the underground lobby.

Customers who need to change their shipping address or delivery date must contact Customer Service two working days prior to delivery. If you or the consignee fail to collect the ordered goods within the agreed time, the Company reserves the right to charge the customer HK$100 for delivery.    

If the logistics company inform that the delivery is failed due to the wrong delivery address, or unable to contact the guest for several times, we will contact the guest and arrange a second delivery service, which may require payment of the relevant shipping charges.  If you or the consignee fail to collect the ordered goods within the agreed time, the Company reserves the right to charge the customer HK$100 for delivery.

When the No. 8 strong winds or black rainstorm warning comes into effect, delivery service time may be delayed and the Company will contact the customer to change the delivery date.

We recommend you to contact us before you buy, if you are uncertain to the terms and conditions of the delivery.

The Company reserves the right to refuse delivery to any customer.

All rights

All risks to the Goods are transferred to the Customer upon arrival, but the Group Buyer platform reserves all rights to such Goods until the price of the Goods in question is settled.   

Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure in its performance caused by or resulting from acts of God, fire, flood, accident, riot, war, government intervention, embargoes, strikes, labour difficulties, equipment failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Company.

These Terms and Conditions will be interpreted and governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China ("Hong Kong").  The application of each part of this provision is limited to the extent permitted by the law. If any part of this provision is prohibited or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, only the prohibited or unenforceable portion is declared invalid in that jurisdiction, but the remainder of these terms will not be invalidated or the validity, legality or enforceability of that part will not be affected in other jurisdictions. Group Buyer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions in its absolute discretion.    Group Buyer reserves the right to make the final decision in the event of any dispute. This Chinese translation is for reference purposes only, if the meaning of the Chinese and English versions is different, should be based on the original English text.
